[Demerit]]    Though she herself does not resent humans, her sense to avenge stems from the goddess who summoned her. In a way, she is but a means to an end and thus does not know where to direct her hatred.    Oblivion Correction: C  [Increases own critical damage by 6%.]    Being eternal, one remembers what others forget. The most cunning of creatures is sure to use this to their advantage.    Self-Replenishment (Magic): A+  [Charges own NP gauge by 4% every turn.]    Since she is a jiǔwěihú her Magical Energy is already of high quantity and quality, but bearing a connection to her goddess allows her to reach even greater levels.

King’s Favourite: EX  [500% Chance to draw attention of all enemies to self by 300% for 1 turn. Increases own NP generation rate for 1 turn. Charges own NP gauge.]    Being the most beloved of the court, all eyes are on her. Be careful she does not pluck them for her own enjoyment.    One of Nine Tails: B  [Reduces all enemies' debuff resistance for 1 turn. Increases own Arts performance for 1 turn.]    Despite possessing all nine tails of fox-like ascension to the celestial, Daji only brings out one at a time. Why? Well, moving around with all nine tails is quite the endeavour!    Natural Body (Fox): A   [Increases own Defense for 3 turns. Recovers own HP.]    Yip yip!

Nüwa’s Ire: To Bring the Fall of a Dynasty  Rank: B  Type: Anti-Lineage  Range: 15-30  Max. targets: 300 people    [Deal heavy Special Attack damage to all [Debuff] enemies <Special Attack damage increases with Overcharge> & decrease Critical Rate (3 turns) for all enemies & reduce your HP by 1000 [Demerit].]    Insulting the mother goddess brings retribution.

Personality  Fickle and eclectic, her sweet tone and playful words belie an ability to scorn and torture beyond human comprehension. That is, she is not human, so such morals mean nothing to her. Her curiosity is both boundless and morbid. Though she has one thousand years’ worth of knowledge, there are still many things she has to learn and may be baited with such tactics against her better judgement.      Motives & attitude towards Master  Having been driven out by the heavens while at death’s door, Daji aims for a kingdom of her own creation and her own people--a fox kingdom would certainly be ideal.    She has no real preference in Masters as ones that obey her will serve her well and ones that resist her are cute in their own way, too.      Dialogue Examples    “Oh my, what a cute Master I’ve been summoned by. Modern music is quite interesting, but I don’t dislike it. The lyrics of some popular songs convey quite the tantilising message if I do say so myself.”

General Armaments  While Daji possesses the ability to summon her various torture devices made in life, she finds them too clunky and unrefined now. She prefers to fight with the fox spirits under her command.    Historical Depiction  The tales of Daji and the jiǔwěihú that possessed her vary, but it is always agreed upon that the path she paved was an atrocious one. Steeped in such evils that a variety of tales involving her such as Fēngshén Yǎnyì and Dōngzhōu Lièguó Zhì record her inhuman acts. She was said to charm and bewitch the emperor with her beauty to the point he ignored ruling the country in favour of spending time with her and fulfilled her every wish. She was a woman of impeccably macabre taste.    Some say the origins of Chinese foot binding also traces back to Daji as she supposedly wrapped her feet to hide her fox feet.      Depiction as a Servant  In essence this Daji is but an expy of Nüwa’s vengeance. With Nüwa’s grace, they bewitched a man yet destroyed a dynasty. In this form, Daji is more akin to the nine-tailed fox originally summoned by the goddess to avenge Zhou’s insult, but she cannot escape the everlasting effects and notoriety of her actions when she possessed the human Daji.    That said, Daji fully indulged herself in her atrocities and does not feel disdain nor regret for her life up until being condemned from the heavens by her goddess. She plans to willfully indulge once more if not kept under a watchful eye.
