Remiel is a young, rather slim man of average height. He has light skin and messy, medium-length, pitch-black hair. Though most of the time his eyes appear to be closed, when he opens them, they are a crackling mixture of gold and bronze.
In his First Ascension, Remiel wears the futuristic looking white garb of the angels, with a waist cape, and cloak, the whole thing accented with orange. Behind him, his white wings arc up behind his head to create a circle before sloping gently downward on each side. His halo in this form is a small, flat, white band.
In his Second Ascension, his wings have become ethereal though still remain white. His clothing is now more intricate, and has shifted colors from white and orange to black and orange, while his halo is now larger and black. Parts of his body are also faded away into dust and smoke that swirls around him.
In his Third Ascension, he now has ten physical wings, a representation of the “ten aspects of God, existence, and the soul,” though they are not feathery, but rather seem to be floating, cracked shards of opaque white glass with a small colored light (each a different color) burning in the middle of each. His uniform is now black, gray, and white, and his halo is no longer over his head, but is now a series of black, concentric rings behind his body that glow in white and have small white “pins” of light emerging from them. Finally, his body has been reconstituted and he is once again whole.
Remiel’s Final Ascension shows him in the same form as in his 3A. His ten wings are curled around to his front, and each of the points of light is shining brightly, concentrating on a sputtering white singularity that floats just above the palm of one hand, and which he stares down into with a smile.
The easiest way to describe Remiel’s True Form would be a colossal, constantly moving vortex of gray wings tinged with black. Multicolored fractals of energy peek out from within, a representation of the souls of Sheol. A collection of eyes and spindly hands can also be seen poking out or shifting around beneath, tending to and manipulating the fractals. At the center of the vortex is a floating ball of glowing white, bright as a star, and covered in ten eyes, each of which seem to dissolve and remanifest across the surface in random places every moment. They constantly look out in different directions to survey all the souls contained in the great tide around him. The whole of this body is constantly moving and pulsating in a bizarre rhythmic pattern, seemingly turning itself inside out and outside in. In this form, Remiel has a massive “spiritual gravity” that tugs at even the barest fragments of souls and attempts to pull them in, even going so far as being capable of pulling lost energy from the souls he has collected back from the Root.
Remiel’s attacks feature floating black shards that are crystallizations of Sheol. These shards themselves can be used to attack, or they can instead expel patterns of energy in bizarre fractal shapes. In his 3rd Ascension, attacks instead come from the lights within his wings.
