Konohana Sakuya

A goddess who governs the domain of Mt. Fuji. Said to be both a goddess of both volcanoes and sakura blossoms, she chose to marry her lover Ninigi-no-Mikoto at the cost of him living a short but beautiful life. While she is generally a wise and benevolent deity, it seems that the summer heat has warped her senses a bit... okay, maybe more than that. The point is: Konohana Sakuya is back in action and better than ever!

A ballroom gown worn during the 2021 FFS summer event. It is decorated with heirlooms and trinkets from Sakuya's short life as a "human" during her honeymoon, and each contains a plethora of memories she will never forget.

Character

A spirited attitude, and a high-energy outlook... you could say she's a textbook genki girl, but it's really just her Madness Enhancement talking. Disregarding modern conventions, she is especially close to Yamato Takeru, who she has claimed as her "lovely younger brother" (much to said brother's chagrin). It should be noted that there are times where she goes a bit overboard, in which case a few objects may become destroyed in the resulting crossfire. In truth, this Sakuya has been summoned from a time period after the Restoration of Humanity, and will soon return to her position as the eternally present goddess of Mt. Fuji. In a sense, her excessive happiness is a coping mechanism to deal with the harsh reality that will soon befall her, desperately clinging to her loved ones in a bid to spend time with them before she must depart. Despite this, Sakuya never allows herself to be down, at least in public. After all, every minute spent moping is a minute less with Ninigi and Takeru!

Madness Enhancement C

A skill characteristic of Berserkers, obtained due to both the summer heat and Sakuya’s own Saint Graph alteration. It does come with its fair share of side effects, namely her current personality, her insistence to prove herself, and her dislike of heat (despite using fire based attacks…)

Midsummer Meeting A+

As a result of her legend primarily taking place in the spring and summer, Sakuya has gained a powerful blessing ability imbued with the attribute of “life”. It's a supermerit buff that’s sure to bring the first step to a great summer! ...is what she says, at least. In reality, it's usually the beginning of all sorts of odd hijinks.

Divine Power (Flame) C

The ability to freely move and levitate objects, said to be the power of gods. Sakuya has thrown her own spin onto the ability, allowing not only for the ability to move objects but to imbue them with fire as well. Essentially, she has the power to turn everyday objects into flaming projectiles. It's quite a dangerous ability to have, especially for the easily angered Berserker Sakuya.

Dance of Falling Petals -- Goddess Termination EX

A super-special variation of Caster Sakuya's Declaration of Blooming Petals Skill. An exchange in Divinity is made in lieu of trading away one’s own life power (HP) for increased stats, with it decreasing accordingly as this skill is used more and more. Sakuya doesn’t really care about her divine responsibilities anyways, so it’s a win-win scenario!

Divine Core of the Blossom Goddess C

A composite skill which not only includes the effects of Divinity, but also “preserves the mind and body”. Konohana Sakuya originally possessed this skill at A Rank during the events of the Japanese Lostbelt, but… “I didn’t really feel like using it this time around, so I toned it down a bit! That’s the power of a goddess for you!”
